Pivot Summit

Project Case Study

About the Project

Pivot Summit 2015 brought together world class speakers - with names like Brian Solis and Robert Scoble, big name sponsors and significant investment in the event itself. Held at The Pier, in Geelong, Victoria, Australia - the event included a stunning audio visual, lighting and staging setup, a social media hub and exhibition space.

The event was planned and executed in only four months and was supported by brands like Telstra, Samsung, Deakin University and Frank Health Insurance - as well as having the support of the local City of Greater Geelong council, the Victorian State Government and the Australian Government.

From end-to-end - this included developing and trademarking a brand, setting up an entity structure, systems and processes, managing stakeholders within the local community and within all levels of government.

Other elements included sourcing speakers, venue, coordinating with the events management business - mapping out milestones, deadlines and ongoing budget management.

The event proved to be an enormous success - also with great thanks to the broader Geelong community, including peak business bodies like ICT Geelong, Committee for Geelong, G21 and The Geelong Chamber of Commerce.

Digitalsmith was also a Gold Sponsor of the event.
